Today we went to Gunung Gading to watch the biggest flower in Asia (or is it the world?).. After 20 minutes of jungle hiking (the mountain was very steep!!!! ) we finally arrived at the site the rafflesia blooms. According to our guide we were lucky as it took 9 months for the rafflesia to bloom but it only blooms for 4 to 5 days. It does not smell as bad as i thought it's gonna be.. Only if you touch the inside part will you be able to smell the fart-like smell on your finger... But the smell was strong enough to attract some flies to it. The rafflesia measured around 70cm in diametres.

Our next stop was the Wind Cave. The reason it was called wind cave was because when you are in the cave, you could feel as if there were wind blowing though there were none. It was very dark inside the cave and the smell of bat's poo was very strong. It was a bit scary though as you could hear all the bats above you but you could not see any of them. Fear of being attacked by the bats made us walk as fast as we could

When we got out of the cave, Ika told us she had a headache and felt like she's having a fever so she slept on our way back to Bau. While Ika slept, Tika told me about Serikin. It was located near the Malaysia-Indonesia border and the stuff sold there are very cheap compared to Kuching. So we decided to stop by just to look around. The stuff sold there were very cheap indeed!! Ika ended up shopping the most. Girls will always be girls. Shopping could cure our fever

On our way back to Tika's house, we stopped by at the state mosque and the state library to take some pictures. Unlike most library, the place is more like a recreational centre. There were people doing aerobics, people hanging out in front of the lake and the lake was full of fish!!! There was even a girl feeding the fish with bread. The library is also famous for its glass stairs.. So don't ever wear a skirt to this library

After dinner that night, we went to the Waterfont again to watch the Iban guy playing the Iban guitar His body was full of tattoo and he lost his front teeth due to too much exposure to the poison from the blowpipe.
