We began our journey from A&W PJ the night before and reached my house in K.Terengganu around 4.30am in the morning. Both of our drivers drove single handedly drove non-stop all the way from KL to KT. After around 3 hours of rest we continued our journey to Redang. It was sunny and breezy at the Syahbandar Jetty. We took a ferry from there to Kampong Jetty in Redang. Then a private boat took us to RedangKalong, our home for the next 3 days. The sea was very calm and the scenery was breathtaking. The water was very clear and we could actually see fishes swimming underneath.
After our lunch, we went for snorkeling. It was great though it gave me terrible headache. Must be a shock to my body to swim that much after so long. Can't believe my luck that day as I got to see turtles mating!! On our way back to the resort, a few dolphins followed our boat and jumped around as if they were making a show for us
That nyte, we walked to the Long Beach. It was like we were entering another world. Unlike our private beach which was very calm and quiet, Long Beach was very happening with loud musics and rather big crowd. We had a great time making fun of people who were drunk enough to dance at the open disco while sipping the yummy coconut drink. I still prefer our resort though as it gave me the vacation-in-an-island-like-feeling. The long beach is more like a holiday to Genting
