At last! The long awaited to Jakarta with 2 of my bestest frenz, Dinna and Shida Ninie was supposed to join us but she could not take leave from work Upon reaching the Jakarta Soekarno-Hatta Airport, we were welcomed by a ondel-ondel (Jakarta's traditional giant puppet) and a group of Indonesians in their traditional costume. Jakarta is celeberating its 479th Anniversary hence the extra special in welcoming tourists to Jakarta. Dinna's cousins, Teh Jehan and Teh Rina were there to welcome us.
We went straight to Bogor for lunch at a Sundanese restaurant. The food was delicious and we were introduced to local's favourite drink, Teh Sostro or widely known as Teh Botol. Then we went to visit another cousin of Dinna who had just gave birth to the cutest baby girl. I was amazed to see the 4 day old girl had been pierced.
Then we went shopping for bags. There were all type of bags selling at a very reasonable price. After we got what we want, we went back to Jakarta to Teh Rina's house. That night we had bakso soup and sate padang for dinner. Yummmy
