Our agenda for today was to go to Dufan (Dunia Fantasi) in Ancol. During my last trip to Jakarta about 12 years ago, trip to Dufan was cancelled by the elders as they wanted to go shopping. So, going to Dufan was my main agenda for this trip On our way there, we went around Jakarta's city central to watch the Istana Negara and Monas. We also visited two of Jakarta's famous mosque.
Dufan was quite big if you compared to Sunway Lagoon or Genting themepark. The rides were easy peasy as they are targeted mostly for kids. The roller coaster looked scary with the loop and twisted rail but when we were in there, it was not scary at all. Other rides were the same as any other themepark. The best part was the tilted house. Had never experience that before. Our mind were confused between the gravity and the set in the house. Gave us headache but it was reallly great. We also went into Istana Boneka where they have puppets representing most countries and continents in the world.
Abang Ara came to picked us and brought us to Puteri Duyung Resort. It was beautiful. If you want to go to all the parks in Ancol, you should stay thre for a few days. Great place.
Then we went to Senayan mall. Sogo and Metro were the anchor tenants so it did not differ much from our malls in Malaysia. I had soto Betawi for dinner.

that was a nice place right,, can i ask u something? where do you stay in dufan? i mean your hotel! how much cause for that hotel?? n how many days u stay in jakarta? u know, i plane to go there this coming jun 14, but i dont know where i can stay near in dufan,,? any suggestion for that?? hopely u can help me...
